Ghostech designs, installs and supports Ajax security systems on the West Coast. Not a national franchise, not a call centre — the person who quotes the job is the person who walks the property.
Good equipment is only half of it
Ajax makes excellent hardware. It is widely available, and plenty of people will sell you a box. What decides whether it actually protects the property is everything that happens after the box is opened — and that is the part we are paid for.
We walk the property first
Entry points, sight lines, layout, how the building is actually used and when it stands empty. A quote written without visiting is a guess.
Detectors go where they work
Placement decides whether you get a real detection or a false alarm at 2am. We place devices deliberately and test signal strength at each one.
The system gets configured
Hub setup, communication paths, user accounts, access levels and alert rules — so the right people are told the right things.
How we prefer to work
Assessment before price
A free on-site assessment, then an installed price for the system we would actually recommend. If a smaller system is the right answer, that is what we quote.
Expandable by design
Start with intrusion protection and add outdoor detection, cameras, fire and leak detection or automation later. You are not locked into buying it all at once.
Your system, your app
You own the system and control the app. Monitoring and armed response are optional paths you choose, not conditions of the sale.
We answer afterwards
Warranty claims, device faults, app questions and changes to users or scenarios are handled locally rather than routed to a distributor.

No compulsory app fee
Use the Ajax app and receive alerts without a required monthly subscription.

Where we work
St Helena Bay and across the West Coast, including holiday homes and properties that stand empty for long stretches — which is a large part of what security means on this coast. If your property sits just outside the area, ask us anyway.
